Receptionist and part-time costs use the National Living Wage from April 2026 (£12.71 an hour) and count only the weeks they're at work, after 5.6 weeks' paid holiday. Full-time includes the 3% minimum workplace pension. Both are before employer National Insurance (15% on pay over £5,000 a year, though many small firms can claim it back through the Employment Allowance), recruitment, training and cover for sickness.
